Despite a bit of gloomy weather, a crowd was on hand on Saturday, January 26, 2013 to witness the unveiling of a historical marker honoring Lancaster City Marshal Peter M. Solomon who lost his life in the line of duty in November 1912.
Among the attendees was Paula Bohanan, the great grandaughter of Solomon. “I appreciate all the hard work and effort, and I’m sure money that went into doing something like this… for someone strictly out of respect,” she said.
